Your systems talking to each other, and to your trading partners
We connect the ERP, the scale software, the TMS, your carriers and your customers so data is entered once and arrives correctly. We build the connections with retries, alerts and a clear record of every message, so a failure shows up on a screen and not in a customer call.
Sound familiar?
Situations this work is built for. If a few of them describe your operation, you are on the right page.
Our biggest customer wants EDI and we are faxing and emailing.
Someone re-enters every sales order into the ERP by hand.
The scale indicator and the ERP have never talked to each other.
When an integration breaks we find out from the customer.
What we build
- EDI with trading partners
- X12 documents including 204, 210, 214, 850, 856 and 810, mapped and tested end to end with each partner, with acknowledgements tracked and exceptions surfaced.
- ERP connections
- Integrations with SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics and similar systems, using supported APIs and database interfaces rather than fragile screen scraping.
- Device and plant data
- Weights from scale indicators, PLC and sensor readings, and machine counters brought into your software over Modbus, OPC UA, serial and MQTT.
- Carrier and logistics APIs
- Rating, booking, tracking and proof-of-delivery connections to carriers, brokers and portals, with one normalized shipment record on your side.
- Webhooks, retries and monitoring
- Queues, idempotent processing, dead-letter handling and a dashboard of every message, so failures are visible, replayable and nobody has to guess what was sent.
How the work runs
Assessment
2–3 weeksWe map every system, file drop, spreadsheet and partner connection, document the data each one carries, and rank them by risk and cost of manual work. You get a written findings report and a prioritized roadmap.
Build
6–12 weeks per phaseWe build the integration layer one flow at a time, testing against sandbox and partner test environments, and showing working message flows every week.
Partner testing and go-live
2–6 weeksEach trading partner and system is tested end to end with real documents, then switched over with the manual path kept as a fallback until volumes prove out.
Run
MonthlyMonitoring, partner onboarding, mapping changes and incident response on a monthly retainer.
Tools we commonly use
- EDI X12
- REST and GraphQL APIs
- SFTP and AS2
- Webhooks
- Modbus
- OPC UA
- MQTT
- PostgreSQL
- TypeScript
- Python
We pick tools to fit what you already run and what your team can maintain.
Questions buyers ask
Do we need an EDI VAN or can you connect directly?
Either works, and the right choice depends on your partners and volume. We can connect over AS2 or SFTP directly, or work through a VAN or EDI provider you already pay for. We recommend the simpler option during the assessment and explain the trade-offs.
Which ERPs do you integrate with?
We integrate with SAP, NetSuite, Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics, and with older systems through database or file interfaces. If your ERP has a supported API we use it. If it does not, we look for the least fragile alternative and tell you the risks.
What happens when an integration fails at 2 a.m.?
Messages are queued and retried automatically, and anything that cannot be delivered lands in a visible exception queue with the original payload. Alerts go to whoever you choose. Under a retainer we monitor the flows and respond to incidents so your team does not have to.
Can you pull data from our scales and PLCs?
Yes, in most cases. Modern indicators and PLCs expose data over Modbus, OPC UA, serial or Ethernet, and we put a small gateway on site to read it and forward it securely. Older or proprietary devices sometimes need extra hardware, and we confirm that on a site visit before committing.
