Fewer manual touches per load, and better answers when customers call
In freight, margin is lost to manual touches: re-keyed tenders, chased PODs, disputed detention. We build the integrations, apps and portals that remove those touches for carriers, 3PLs, freight brokers and drayage operators. We connect to the TMS you already run instead of asking you to start over.
What the software has to survive
These conditions decide what we build before any feature list does.
- Margins are thin and every touch costs
- A load that needs three phone calls and two re-keyed documents may not be profitable at all. Small, repeated manual steps matter more than any single big project.
- Every trading partner has a spec
- EDI 204 tenders, 214 status updates and 210 invoices look standard until each shipper adds its own requirements. Maintaining those mappings is steady work that most teams do not have time for.
- Drivers and docks are not at desks
- Drivers work from phones, often with weak signal at shippers and ports. Dock and yard staff need tools that work standing up, in the weather, with a scanner in one hand.
- Customers expect to see the load
- Shippers want tracking, documents and status without calling dispatch. Detention and accessorial disputes get settled on timestamps, and you either have them or you do not.
What we build for shipping & logistics
- EDI 204, 214 and 210 pipelines
- Tenders arrive, validate and land in your TMS without re-keying. Status updates and invoices go back out in each partner format. Errors go to a visible exception queue instead of disappearing.
- Rate quoting
- We build quoting tools that pull from contract rates, carrier quotes and lane history. AI can read quote requests that arrive by email and draft a response, which a rep reviews before it is sent.
- Proof of delivery capture
- Drivers capture photos, signatures and exceptions in a phone app. The POD is matched to the load automatically and available for billing, so invoices are not held up waiting on paper.
- Detention and accessorial tracking
- Gate, geofence and ELD timestamps are assembled into a clean record of arrival, loading and departure. When a detention claim goes to a shipper, the evidence is already on file.
- Yard and dock scheduling
- Appointments, door assignments and yard moves live in one view that carriers can check in against. Dock staff see what is arriving, what is late and which trailers can be moved.
- Customer portals
- Shippers get a portal for tracking, documents, quote requests and invoices, backed by your TMS data. It cuts the volume of status calls to dispatch and customer service.
Systems we connect to
We work with what you already run. Replacing a system is a last resort, not a starting point.
- TMS platforms
- EDI providers and VANs
- ELD and telematics platforms
- DAT and Truckstop load boards
- Warehouse management systems
- QuickBooks and accounting systems
- Fuel card programs
- Mapping and routing APIs
Services that fit
- AI agents & automationAgents that read documents, triage inboxes and flag problems, with a person approving the output.
- Custom software & internal toolsOperator-facing apps, floor tablets and customer portals that replace the spreadsheet running the business.
- Data platforms & analyticsOne trusted source of data and the dashboards operations actually read, down to margin by load.
- Integrations, ERP & EDIEDI, APIs and ERP connections that move orders, shipments and scale data between systems reliably.
- Cloud & edge infrastructureMove off aging servers, run reliably at sites with poor connectivity, and keep it secure and affordable.
Questions buyers ask
Can you integrate with our TMS?
Usually yes, through whatever the TMS offers: an API, EDI, database access or scheduled file exports. We check the options in the assessment and recommend the least fragile path. If the TMS has no workable integration point, we tell you before any build begins.
Do you build and maintain EDI connections?
Yes. We build 204, 214 and 210 mappings for your trading partners, work with your EDI provider or run the translation ourselves, and monitor for failures. Each new partner spec is a defined piece of work, not an open-ended project.
Can AI quote loads from emailed requests?
Yes, in a draft-and-review setup. The system reads the request, pulls lane and rate history, and prepares a quote for a rep to approve. It works well on clear lane requests, and it hands off to a person when the request is ambiguous or unusual.
Can you build a customer portal on top of our existing TMS?
Yes. A portal can read shipment, document and invoice data from the TMS and present it to your customers with their own logins. The TMS stays the system of record, and the portal does not change how your team dispatches.
