Infrastructure that stays up when the site connection does not

Plenty of operations still depend on a server in a closet and a backup nobody has tested. We move you to infrastructure that is secure, monitored and affordable, and we put compute at the edge for sites where the internet is unreliable. We are vendor-neutral, and comfortable on Cloudflare, AWS and Azure.

Sound familiar?

Situations this work is built for. If a few of them describe your operation, you are on the right page.

  • Our main server is ten years old and we are afraid to reboot it.

  • The yard loses internet every time it rains and everything stops.

  • I could not tell you the last time we tested a restore.

  • Our cloud bill keeps climbing and nobody knows why.

What we build

Migration off aging servers
Inventory, planning and staged moves of on-prem servers and virtual machines to managed cloud, with cutover plans and rollback for each workload.
Edge computing for weak connections
On-site compute that keeps scales, tablets and cameras working through an outage, then syncs to the cloud when the link comes back.
Security hardening
Patching, network segmentation, least-privilege access, endpoint and email protection, and a written plan to close the gaps we find.
Backups and recovery
Automated, encrypted, off-site backups with scheduled restore tests and a recovery plan that states how long you can be down.
Identity, SSO and observability
Single sign-on and multi-factor authentication across your tools, plus logging, metrics and alerts that tell you something is wrong before users do.
Cost control
Tagging, rightsizing, budgets and monthly reviews so cloud spend tracks the work being done.

How the work runs

  1. Assessment

    2–3 weeks

We inventory servers, networks, backups, identities and site connectivity, and review security and cost. You get a written findings report and a prioritized roadmap with the riskiest items first.

  2. Build

    6–12 weeks per phase

We build the landing environment as code, migrate workloads in order of risk, and deploy edge nodes at the first sites, with working results shown every week.

  3. Cutover and hardening

    2–4 weeks

Workloads are switched over with rollback ready, old hardware is retired only after a clean period, and backup restores are tested in front of your team.

  4. Run

    Monthly

Monitoring, patching, backup verification, access reviews and cost reporting on a monthly retainer, alongside your in-house IT if you have it.

Tools we commonly use

  • Cloudflare
  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Terraform
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Linux
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Okta
  • Grafana

We pick tools to fit what you already run and what your team can maintain.

Questions buyers ask

Do we have to move everything to the cloud?

No. Some workloads belong in the cloud, some belong on site, and some belong at the edge for speed or reliability. We recommend the split that fits your sites and risks, and we are happy to keep systems on premises when that is the better answer.

Which cloud do you use?

We are vendor-neutral and pick the platform that suits the workload, usually Cloudflare, AWS or Azure. If your company already has an enterprise agreement with one of them, that weighs heavily. We build with infrastructure as code so the setup is documented and portable.

How do you keep a site running when the internet drops?

We run the critical software on a small server or gateway at the site, so weighing, receiving and tablets keep working locally. Data is queued and synced when the connection returns. We design the failure mode with your operators and test it by pulling the cable.

How do you handle security?

We apply least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, encryption at rest and in transit, patching and tested backups, and we document each control for your own reviews. We work within your security policies and alongside your IT team. Findings are written up plainly with a fix order.
